2nd Annual Honor Flight Lands in Billings [AUDIO]

The 2nd Honor Flight landed at the Billings Logan International Airport Monday night at 8:20. The 87 vets made their way down to the exit of the airport to about 1,000 fans cheering, waving flags and showing lots of emotion. My wife, Keri and I were there for the celebration.
What an awesome sight to all age groups show up to welcome our Montana WWII Vets back home. Some in the crowd were overwhelmed as were most of the vets. The most asked question from the vets from Sunday morning when they began their adventure to D.C. was, ..”Is this all for us”…Precious!
Thanks to County Commissioner Bill Kennedy, Mayor Tom Hanel, Becky Hillier and my wife for adding some insight to the Billings Morning News Tuesday morning the day after the airport celebration.
