Rush: “I’m Not Gonna Be Silenced”

On his radio show Monday, Rush Limbaugh came out swinging in the debate that conservative Talk radio is to blame for the tragic shootings in Tucson last weekend. “I can’t speak for others who do what I do, but I’m not gonna be silenced by this,” said the Premiere Radio Networks-syndicated talker. Noting that there’s been no evidence linking the accused Tucson shooter with listening to Talk radio — let alone listening to Rush or any other individual talk host  – Limbaugh added, “Every large group contains some mentally unstable members. So statistically it’s inevitable that somebody identifiably conservative is gonna commit some atrocity. Now, when that happens, all the government machinery will be in place to take away as many freedoms as the left can manage.”
