MetraPark May Charge For Parking

The question is “How do we get better fair concerts to Montana Fair”? The answer may just be in the parking. My wife and I went to Billy Currington’s show at Montana Fair and there were cars parked everywhere, upper and lower lots. We had a great time at the show but it took 30 minutes to find parking.
We enjoyed the concert and thought that Billy Currington was a perfect Montana Fair concert. Now there is a talk about how to get better Fair concerts to MetraPark.
The bigger the act, the more money it costs! Charging for parking is being discussed to fund the bigger acts. Personally I am all for a small parking fee to get to the next level of Montana Fair acts, but would this turn into “paid parking” for all concerts coming to MetraPark?
Board member Bruce Jensen suggested charging $5 for parking in the lower lot to boost the night show entertainment budget.
$5.00 may be a little steep. But I would pay $3.00 and what about $2.00 on the upper lot?
How much is reasonable for paid parking at Metrapark for Montana Fair concerts?
