This week’s dead artist is Donna Summer. The Queen of Disco. Died Thursday, May 17 at the age of 63 after a long battle with cancer.

Unemployment is still high much higher than it should be if it was a normal recovery.

This is not a normal recovery because Obama really does not know how to figure it out.

To quote our President, “employers got out over their skis a bit this winter in hiring.  It’s going to take sustained economic growth to kick-start job creation, and it’s been years since we’ve seen sustained, significant economic growth.  It looks like it will be a few more quarters before we get there, under these conditions.”

Hopefully in a few more quarters Obama will be retired.

Maybe then and only them will jobs come back!

I have a question who told them the soda machine was on?

This is government at its very worst and talk about big brother watching. We are trillions in debt and if we could fine every school that forgets to turn of the soda machine we could retire what we owe. The Feds should be embarrassed.

You need to watch out what you eat, think, and who you talk to these days.

John Boehner has had enough so he says. I would like to believe him but I have seen this movie before.

“When the time comes, I will again insist on my simple principle of cuts and reforms greater than the debt limit increase,” the Ohio Republican said Tuesday at a Washington event hosted by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, an organization that urges deficit reduction.

How many times have we heard these similar words spoken by many on the right. And how many times have we seen the debt limit raised with no cuts to spending.

I don’t want to remember its to frustrating.

Maybe just maybe Boehner will win but do not hold your breath!

The most listened to radio talk show host now has a bust in the state capital of Missouri.

Rush’s bust was unveiled at the  Capitol’s Hall of Famous Missourians on Monday, May 14. This was by invitation only and no Democrats were invited.

The left in Missouri is beside themselves and are outraged that one of the most famous personalities would be honored by his home state.

“It is quite clear from their handling of the Limbaugh ceremony that Republicans were ashamed of what they were doing and wanted as few people as possible to witness it. When you take great steps to hide what you’re doing, it usually means that you know what you’re doing is wrong,” said House Assistant Democratic Leader Tishaura Jones, D-St. Louis.

Michelle Obama and Oprah were best friends for ten minutes and then it all fell apart according to an excerpt from bestselling author Ed Klein’s new book, “The Amateur,” Monday in the New York Post.

“Oprah only wants to cash in, using the White House as a backdrop for her show to perk up her ratings,” Michelle was quoted as telling her staff. “Oprah, with her yo-yo dieting and huge girth, is a terrible role model. Kids will look at Oprah, who’s rich and famous and huge, and figure it’s OK to be fat.”

Michelle how could you call Oprah fat!

This tiff is not about Oprah’s weight. Michelle was afraid Barry would like Oprah and Michelle would be left out in the cold.

This whole thing is ridiculous and boring. Barry would never give up Michelle for Oprah.

Many Black Pastors are just starting to weight in on Obama’s endorsement of Gay marriage and many are not happy.

Rev. Wallace Charles Smith, support the President with the caveat that “we preferred that he had not weighed in on the issue,” Rev. Burns (also a state legislator) has no interest in voting this year. “People have come up to me, are saying they don’t support this, they don’t like this,” he argued. “They are disappointed with the President, and they plan to stay home.”

Joe Biden started the whole debate a week ago and if we understand Obama at all he wants Biden’s head on a stick.

The Black community has historically been opposed to Gay marriage and if Biden had keep his mouth shut all would have been better in Obamaland.

I love it what a fun show to watch!

If Orin Hatch isn’t careful he will be spending next year writing a book about his years in the Senate like Arlen Spector just did.

The tide is drowning out the old lions of the Senate and its about time. Arlen Spector was one of its first victims and Orin Hatch may be next. Both blame it on the Tea party.

Spector deserved to lose he was unreliable and forever thinking about his next election. He changed party affiliation the last run believing it would help him.

The Democrats aren’t even that gullible.

It’s good that Spector is gone. When the Tea party candidates take a majority he may be a born again Tea party guy. Anything to win an election Arlen!
