A Review of Hope Fest 2012 In Downtown Billings [AUDIO]

After about 4 months of planning and designing and re-designing what Hope Fest with the Montana Rescue Mission was going to be all about, the event went off without a hitch on September 8 in downtown Billings. The most fun you can have with a bed with wheels kicked off the event with the annual Bed Race sponsored by Mattress Land U.S.A.We could not have asked for a better day weather wise! The Hope Fest event, set up to bring out awareness to the Montana Rescue Mission instead of being a gigantic fundraiser. There was food, fun, kids activities and a great variety of entertainment on stage with the Wrecking Clowns Dance Crew and Christian rapper, “WOM” stealing the show!! I even did a little break dancing with the Clowns!! Trust me you don’t want to see me dance on a You Tube video.
The anticipated climax of the event was the drawing for a $12,000 Pierce R.V. Camper that was donated to MRM for them to give away!
I had Gary Drake and Perry Roberts from MRM on the Billings Morning News:
